Growing up on a small horse ranch in Ohio, I loved animals since the day I was born. Our cozy little farm was a flurry of activity! We had dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, a ferret, peacocks, geese, chickens, and even a pot bellied pig. Our neighbors owned llamas and cattle, and I sometimes helped care for them as well. For the past three 1/2 years I've had the privilege of being a stay at home mom, which can be more demanding than working for someone else! I have three children between the ages of 3 and 15 and I now enjoy volunteering in the classroom on occasion and helping out with other school related activities. In September of 2007 I decided to combine my love for being a full-time mom with my other great love; taking care of animals! I've always helped out friends and neighbors with their pets, so starting a pet sitting/homesitting/errand business just seemed like a great fit! This business affords me the time to be with my children and work with animals that I cherish so much.
I currently own a black Labrador retriever who is 5 years old, a cockatiel that is 11 years old, and a pond full of beautiful Japanese Koi fish. I have owned horses my entire life until 5 1/2 years ago when I lost my 1st horse and my best friend, Charlie. Charlie was with me for almost 30 years; we grew up together and not a day goes by that I don't think of him and miss him. My animals have always been a very large and very special part of my life. I hope you will entrust your animals to me when you need to be away from home. You may be confident that I will look after and care for yor pets as well as I do my own.
